Simulation of dust size distribution effects on the stability of dust ion acoustic soliton

The dust ion acoustic soliton stability in an unmagnetized dusty plasma with a dust size distribution, have been simulated using a one dimensional PIC code. Ion components are assumed as a cold fluid, the electrons as particles by a maxwellian distribution function and the dust grains as a stationary background. The variations of the dust ion acoustic soliton parameters such as width and amplitude with an arbitrary dust size distribution function are investigated.
